Anynet is a wired network system that lets you control a Samsung TV and two other Samsung Audio Visual devices through the remote control of the Samsung TV. Anynet was available on many 2005 Samsung TVs, available on only one 2006 TV, and is not available on any 2007 Samsung TVs (HL-T, HP-T, FP-T, LN-T, or TX-T series).

Important: Although Anynet is not available on any 2007 Samsung TVs, Anynet+ (Anynet Plus), an updated version of Anynet, is available on many 2007 Samsung TVs.

Anynet+ (Anynet Plus)

Anynet+ is a feature that operates through HDMI (1.3 or higher) connections and lets you control up to twelve Samsung devices with your Samsung TV remote, with up to three of those devices being of the same type (for example, three DVD players). Anynet+ can only be used with devices that have the Anynet+ feature; however many products from other companies are also compatible with this feature (An example is connecting a Sony PS3 to a Samsung television supporting Anynet+, where you will be able to access basic functions of the PS3 itself by using the Samsung television remote). To be sure a Samsung device has the Anynet+ feature, look for the Anynet+ logo on the device.
